The University of Central Arkansas Police Department is seeking individuals who are interested in a university law enforcement career. University police officers are responsible for protecting life and property, enforcing state and local laws, preventing crime and preserving order. Fringe benefits include health, dental and life insurance benefits, paid vacation, overtime, holidays, and 5.5% shift differential. Police Officers are furnished all uniforms, equipment, and protective gear at no cost to the officer.
The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma. Must possess valid state motor vehicle operators license. Must be able to be certified by the Arkansas Law Enforcement Certification Training in accordance with ACA 12-9-106, or an approved law enforcement training academy. Ability to pass background investigation. US Citizen.
